Dr. André Bittermann is a Senior Researcher at ZPID (Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information) since October 2024, working in the 'Metascience' and 'Information and Retrieval Services' departments. He previously served as acting head of ZPID's 'Big Data in Psychology' department from 2021 to 2024. He holds a PhD in Psychology (Dr. rer. nat.) from Trier University (2020). His research focuses on computational methods applied to psychology, including text-as-data approaches, bibliometric analysis, and metascience.
