Andra Aaloe is a Lecturer in Urban Studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture and Urban Design. She has held adjunct and part-time roles at the same institution and Tallinn University, focusing on interdisciplinary research and creative urban interventions.
Her research spans cultural anthropology, urban studies, and social geography, emphasizing participatory performance and urban landscapes of restitution. She co-edited the Estonian Urbanist Review and contributed to projects like the Planetary Ruralisation exhibition and the Urban Heat program.
