Dr. Andie Noack is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MA and PhD from York University in Sociology. Her expertise lies in research methodologies, survey design, and statistical analysis, with a focus on precarious work and employment standards enforcement.

Dr. Noack specializes in the history and politics of knowledge production, particularly how survey design and data collection shape understanding of precarious employment. She leads community-engaged research projects and collaborates with the Toronto Research Data Centre steering committee.
Her recent publications explore settler colonial lenses in temporary labour migration, deterrence gaps in Ontario enforcement, and mixed-methods approaches to labour standards research. She contributes to policy studies through the Closing the Enforcement Gap Research Group.
