Anderson Rei Galvão

Anderson Rei Galvão is an Assistant Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Beira Interior (2019) and is an integrated member of the Center for Transdisciplinary Studies for Development (CETRAD). His research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, knowledge transfer between academia and industry, regional development, and internationalization trends.

He has contributed over 50 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. His work emphasizes rural entrepreneurship programs, start-up incubators, and CSR integration in higher education curricula. Key projects include Espacio T3 (transborder tech transfer), Douro-C Creative Hub, and Empreendedorismo em Meio Rural. He co-leads the Innovation & Market Ecosystems (IMEKO) research group and participates in interdisciplinary initiatives like the Douro SocioEcoLL project.

Galvão’s recent publications analyze knowledge spillovers in low-density regions, rural entrepreneurship mentoring, and CSR orientation among students. He actively engages in policy-oriented research through projects funded under the Norte2020 framework and collaborates with regional development stakeholders.
