Anderson Kho

Anderson Kho serves as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, where he has been a full-time faculty member since May 2006. His academic journey includes a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Western Australia (2002) and an MSc in Consumer Electronics from Nanyang Technological University (2004).

His research program centers on portable energy solutions, with three interconnected thrusts: 1) Development of thin-film supercapacitor systems for mobile electronics, 2) Consumer product design emphasizing sustainable power sources, and 3) Low-power circuit implementations for energy-constrained devices. Current projects focus on power management circuitry for hybrid battery-supercapacitor interfaces and micro-hydro generators for remote applications.

His publication record demonstrates consistent output in energy storage systems, with recent work appearing in Applied Mechanics and Materials and major regional engineering conferences. Research is supported through competitive grants including Malaysia's E-Science Fund and Swinburne's internal Seed Grant Scheme.
