Anderson Dorcas

Anderson Dorcas is an Associate Professor of Law at Singapore Management University’s Yong Pung How School of Law, where she has served since January 2023. She previously held positions as Assistant Professor at the same institution from July 2016 to December 2022, alongside roles as Associate Dean and Visiting Researcher at Harvard University.

Her research focuses on Dispute Resolution, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), Mediation Ethics, and Civil Procedure. Recent work examines AI integration in legal negotiation, mandatory ADR implementation, and cultural dimensions in cross-border mediation. She has contributed to Singapore’s legal reforms through empirical studies on judicial mediation and access to justice.

Scientific awards include the D.S. Lee Foundation Fellowship (2022), multiple Dean’s Excellence Teaching Awards (2020-2023), and the Della Suantio Fellowship (2019). Her publications bridge theoretical and practical dimensions of ADR policy, with a particular emphasis on post-pandemic hybrid mediation models and cross-border enforceability challenges.
