Anders Vilhelmsson is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Lund University School of Economics and Management. His research focuses on financial economics, including loan syndication, financial risk, asset pricing, taxation, and sustainability. He teaches on the world-ranked Master's program in Finance and supervises bachelor's and master's theses. He occasionally lectures at Executive Foundation Lund's executive education programs.
Research interests span volatility measurement, capital market returns, and corporate tax practices' sustainability implications. He has contributed to projects like 'Tax reporting for a sustainable society' and 'Exploring the new finance: Meme stocks, melt-ups, and going green.'
Recent awards include the CH Witt Prize (2022) for collaborative work on corporate taxation and sustainability. He actively participates in academic activities such as organizing workshops, reviewing manuscripts, and supervising PhD candidates like Ioannis Tzoumas and Madelaine Lindblad.
