Anders Vilhelmsson is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Lund University. He holds a dual role in research and teaching, focusing on financial economics with particular emphasis on loan syndication, financial risk, asset pricing, and taxation. His work intersects sustainability, corporate taxation, and economic development. He is actively involved in the Master's program in Finance, ranked top 50 globally by Financial Times, and supervises bachelor's and master's theses. He also contributes to executive education through the Executive Foundation Lund (EFL).
His research footprint includes collaborations on projects like 'The Impact of Ownership Structure on Long-Term Sustainable Value Creation in Swedish SMEs' and 'Tax reporting for a sustainable society,' demonstrating interdisciplinary engagement. He received the CH Witt Prize in 2022 for collaborative work on tax and sustainability.
Anders has organized academic events such as the Knut Wicksell Conference on Crypto and Fintech (2024) and the YOUNG SCHOLARS NORDIC FINANCE WORKSHOP (2023). He currently supervises three PhD students and has authored/co-authored 26 research outputs, including peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals like the Journal of Finance.
