Anders Orup Aaby

Anders Orup Aaby is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Southern Denmark, affiliated with the Faculty of Health Sciences. He holds a PhD in Health Psychology (awarded July 2022) and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Southern Denmark (June 2018). His research focuses on spinal cord injury rehabilitation, leveraging scoping reviews, mixed methods, and innovative interventions such as extended reality (XR) and outdoor-based activities. He currently serves as a Researcher at Specialhospitalet for Polio- og Ulykkespatienter, continuing his PhD work there (2018–2021).
