Anders Brunse

Anders Brunse is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, specializing in Preclinical Disease Biology within the Graduate Programme for In Vivo Pharmacology and Experimental Animals. He develops specialized animal models to address critical perinatal challenges including premature birth, early nutrition, and gut colonization.

His research focuses on utilizing premature piglet models to investigate necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) and bacteriophage-based interventions.
