Anat Feingold, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) and Core Faculty at the Edward D. Viner Center for Humanism. She leads the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Cooper University Hospital, serves as Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program, and directs the Southern NJ Family HIV Treatment Center. Dr. Feingold co-directs the 'Healer’s Art' course for third-year medical students, emphasizing humanistic values in healthcare.
Education: Medical degree from Washington University (St. Louis, MO), MPH from Columbia University (NY), pediatric residency and fellowships in clinical epidemiology and pediatric infectious diseases (Albert Einstein Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children). She spent time in Nairobi, Kenya, before finalizing her fellowship.
Research focuses on HIV/AIDS, pediatric infectious diseases, and integrating humanism into medical training. Awards include RWJMS Mentorship Recognition, Lindback Teaching Excellence, and Attending of the Year honors. Beyond medicine, she practices pilates, adventure travels, and aspires to transform her lawn into a meadow.
