Anasthasia Castelbou-Losa

Anasthasia Castelbou-Losa is a faculty member at the University of Toulouse - Jean Jaurès, affiliated with the Center for Anglophone Studies (CAS) and the Department of English-Speaking World Studies. She holds the academic rank of Senior Lecturer and teaches across LANSAD, LLCE, and LEA programs, covering phonetics, grammar, written expression, literature, and translation.

Her research focuses on British literature, particularly modernist fiction and the intersection of literature with democracy and commons. Key themes include E.M. Forster’s narrative construction of democratic spaces, conversation as a social and literary device, and the representation of coexistence and ambiguity in colonial contexts.
