Anastasia Prokhorova

Anastasia Prokhorova is a Researcher at the European University Institute in the Department of Political and Social Sciences. A Russian national, she joined the institution in the 2022 cohort. Her research focuses on international relations, global governance, and peacekeeping operations, particularly within the framework of the United Nations.

Recent research output includes analysis of self-protection mechanisms in UN peacekeeping and the conceptualization of protector roles under the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) doctrine.
