Anahita Rashidfarokhi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences. She contributes to the Ecosystems and Environment Research Programme and Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS).
Research Interests: Focused on environmental sciences, particularly urban greening strategies for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Her work aligns with ecosystem studies and sustainability science.
Projects: Currently serves as Co-Principal Investigator for the Enhanced Urban Greening Pland for Biodiv project (2024–2026), funded by the European Commission under EU Research and Innovation Actions (RIA).
Activities: Participated in the 2025 Spring Days for International Affairs of Higher Education Institutions, presenting on urban sustainability and biodiversity.
