Ana Ćirić is a Research Associate at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. She earned her Master of Pharmacy degree in 2015 and completed her doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Technology in 2021. Her work focuses on developing pharmaceutical products and technologies, particularly pH-dependent drug release systems.
Her research involves polyelectrolyte complexes for controlled drug delivery, as evidenced by publications in International Journal of Biological Macromolecules. She contributes to practical teaching in Pharmaceutical Technology and is part of two major projects: TR34007 (Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia) and PhAgroWaste (Ideje program).
Scientific awards include the prestigious Dositeja scholarship from the Young Talent Fund. She has co-authored one book chapter, four international journal articles, three national journal papers, and presented at 13 conferences. Currently, she co-supervises student research and works on pharmaceutical formulations.
