Ana Rute Costa is a Professor of Sustainable Architecture at Lancaster University's School of Architecture, where she leads the BA(Hons) Architecture program as Course Leader. As a chartered architect, Passivhaus designer, and researcher, she bridges academia and industry, focusing on material reuse, material passports, and learning environment design. Her work emphasizes user-centered architecture and reducing whole-life carbon impacts.
