Ana Perić Momčilović

Roles & Affiliations: Ana Perić Momčilović is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Urbanism, Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. She also served as a Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant previously. Her work focuses on urban planning, brownfield regeneration, and collaborative planning methods.

• PhD: Award-winning dissertation The Role of Urban Planning in the Process of Brownfield Regeneration (2013)
• Master's: Completed in 2007

Research Interests: Ana’s research spans urban and spatial planning, brownfield site regeneration, planning culture, and innovative collaborative tools in urban development. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in urban regeneration projects.

Grants & Projects: Secured six grants, including the Fulbright Foundation Grant (2021) and Swiss Governance Excellence Scholarship (2014/2015). Led or co-led ten international projects, including roles as project coordinator and principal investigator. Collaborated with institutions like ETH Zurich and Future Cities Lab (Singapore).

Teaching & Advising: Supervised seven Master’s/MAS theses and two PhD dissertations. Taught at ETH Zurich’s Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems (REIS) Master Programme, leading courses like European Aspects of Spatial Development.

Labs & Teams: Active in international organizations including ISOCARP, AESOP, and UN-HABITAT CoP on Urban Innovation. Member of MENSA. Fluent in English and German.
