Ana Milenković Anđelković

Ana Milenković Anđelković is affiliated with Singidunum University, where her research focuses on Chemistry, Food Technology, and Biotechnology. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Niš (2010–2016). Her work emphasizes phenolic compounds, environmental monitoring, and antioxidant activity in plant extracts. Prior to her academic role, she served as a subject teacher in primary and secondary education from 2011 to 2023, complemented by volunteer work in water analysis laboratories. She has authored over 45 scientific publications and six monographs, specializing in natural product chemistry and sustainable resource utilization.

Her education includes a Doctoral degree in Chemistry (University of Niš), Specialist studies in Chemistry (2007–2009), and a Master’s in Technology and Informatics (Technical Faculty, University of Kragujevac). Her research spans environmental water quality assessments, plant-derived bioactive compounds, and industrial applications of agricultural waste. She has actively participated in workshops and conferences in Macedonia, Serbia, and beyond, addressing topics like functionalized materials, sensors, and ecological preservation.

Notable projects include collaboration on the Regional Innovation Startup Center (2024) and studies on lake Ćelije’s ecological health. She contributes to pedagogical innovation through workshops on digital teaching tools (e.g., Kahoot, Active Learning). Her publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches, blending chemistry with food science, biotechnology, and environmental sustainability.
