Ana Choperena Armendáriz

Ana Choperena Armendáriz is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Navarra (UNAV), specializing in the professionalization of nursing through person-centered care and reflective practice. She also serves as Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at UNAV.

Her research focuses include:

• Historical analysis of nursing, particularly war contexts
• Development of professional competencies in nursing
• Gender contributions to various fields
• Narrative-based educational programs

She leads the publicly funded NarratUN project and collaborates with the GENOVIFEM initiative. Her affiliations span multiple research groups including:
