Ana Catarina Brasil

Ana Catarina Brasil is a Researcher at the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC) and a Guest Lecturer at the University of the Azores. She is currently a PhD candidate in Translation Studies (2024) at a joint program between the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FCH-UCP), the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (FLUL-UL), and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of NOVA University Lisbon (FCSH-UNL).

  • Her work bridges cultural identity, literary style, and linguistic challenges in translation, drawing from fields like Applied Linguistics, Romance Literatures, and Stylistics.
