Amy Walters

Amy Walters is an Associate Professor in PT Programs at the College of Health Sciences, University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from College of St. Scholastica, a Master of Physical Therapy from University of Texas Medical Branch, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Texas.

Her research explores learning styles and alternative therapies. She teaches pharmacology and geriatric physical therapy, integrating yoga and Pilates into rehabilitation practices. Her clinical background spans sports medicine, home health, and geriatrics, with specialty certifications in sports (2011) and geriatrics (2017).
