Amy Towne is an Instructor II in the Department of Language & Literature at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), part of the College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a B.F.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University (1994), an M.A. from Northern Illinois University (2000), and a B.S. in Education from Rio Salado College (2005).
