Amy Shriver, MD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Specialty Medicine at Des Moines University and holds a concurrent appointment in the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Program. She practices as a general pediatrician at Blank Children’s Pediatric Clinic while leading statewide initiatives as Medical Director of Reach Out and Read Iowa. Dr. Shriver holds prominent leadership positions including Vice President of the Iowa Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and membership on the AAP's national Council on Early Childhood Executive Board.
