Amy R. Franzini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies and Digital Media Informatics at Widener University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD in Mass Media & Communication from Temple University (2003) and has been at Widener since 2001. Her research focuses on the intersections of children, parents, and media, including media content analysis and strategies for teachable moments in family media consumption.
