Amy Quark is a Professor of Sociology at William & Mary, affiliated with the International Relations Program. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in International Development from the University of Regina. Her research focuses on global inequality, transnational governance, and the legacies of colonialism. She leads the Local Black Histories Project, a community-university collaboration documenting Black histories in the Williamsburg area through films, exhibits, and scholarly work.
