Amy McNichols

Amy McNichols is a Professor and Director of the Global Fellows Program in the Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures at McDaniel College. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and advanced degrees from Binghamton University, and she has been a key figure in global education and language pedagogy at McDaniel since 2003.

Her research centers on Colonial Latin American Literature, especially the portrayal of marginalized identities—women, indigenous peoples, and the African Diaspora—in early modern material culture.
