Amy Chambless is a Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Romance Studies Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She serves as Undergraduate Advisor for Italian, Director of Italian Language Instruction, and Liaison for UNC’s Office for Undergraduate Research. Her roles include coordinating curricular/extracurricular offerings for Italian undergraduates, mentoring graduate teaching fellows, and promoting study-abroad opportunities. She teaches courses at all levels of Italian language, as well as specialized topics in food, culture, literature, and film.

Representative courses include ITAL 365 (Italian Food and Culture), ITAL 333 (Italian Film and Culture), and advanced conversation courses.
