Amy Langton

Amy Langton is the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Officer for Community and Engagement at York St John University. She joined the institution in November 2021 and holds a Master’s in English Literary Studies from the University of York, alongside an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from York St John. Her role focuses on fostering a positive and inclusive PGR community through event organization, induction programs, and enhancing communication strategies.

Her academic background includes studies in English Literature and Creative Writing, complementing her current responsibilities in academic support. In her spare time, she engages in poetry writing, performance, and exploring York’s cultural landmarks.
