Amy Kenworthy is a Professor of Management at Bond University's Bond Business School, where she rejoined in August 2022 after an eleven-year disability leave for cancer treatment. She chairs the Research in Management Learning and Education (RMLE) Unconference Executive Team and is internationally recognized for her expertise in service-learning and experiential education across undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA programs.
Her educational qualifications include:
- Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (2001)
- MBA in Management Science, Bentley College (1992-1994)
- BSc in Business Communications, Bentley College (1988-1992)
Professor Kenworthy's research centers on service-learning, organizational behavior, and persuasion & negotiation. She advocates for experiential education and has expanded her work to include care and wellbeing in organizations, particularly through collaborations with Ukrainian scholars documenting resilience during wartime. Her scholarship contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals in education and peacebuilding.
Her recent publications demonstrate an interdisciplinary focus on organizational resilience in conflict zones, community building, and innovative pedagogy. These works bridge management education, crisis response, and wellbeing research, reflecting her commitment to real-world applications of academic theory in extreme contexts like the Ukraine war.
She has received numerous prestigious awards:

Professor Kenworthy actively mentors students through service-learning projects and has secured research grants supporting her Ukraine collaborations. Her current work includes documenting Ukrainian educators' resilience and developing wellbeing frameworks for organizations in crisis. She leads international partnerships through the RMLE Unconference and regularly engages with Ukrainian institutions like the Ukrainian Catholic University Business School.
She directs the RMLE Unconference network, fostering global collaboration among management educators, and partners with scholars in conflict zones to advance research on organizational adaptation and human resilience during wartime.
