Dr. Amy J. Stichman is an Associate Professor and Department Chair at North Dakota State University's Department of Criminal Justice. She holds a Ph.D. (2003) and M.S. (1993) from the University of Cincinnati, and a B.C.J. (1991) from New Mexico State University. Her research examines sex offender laws, correctional program evaluation, criminal justice internships, workplace mentoring experiences, and tokenism in policing.
Courses taught include Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology and Criminal Law, Applied Research Methods, Corrections, Women and Minorities in Criminal Justice, Senior Capstone, and graduate-level courses in Program Evaluation, Structural Theories of Crime, and Correctional Rehabilitation.
