Amy Gladstone, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Public Administration at Seton Hall University. She holds an MSW from Adelphi University and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Dr. Gladstone is a seasoned clinician, supervisor, and educator with over 30 years of experience across hospitals, social service agencies, Head Start programs, and private practice. She currently teaches doctoral and master’s level courses at Rutgers University and serves on the faculty of training institutes like the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute.
Her research focuses on modern attachment theory, affect regulation, trauma, dissociation, and the integration of theoretical models into clinical practice. She also critically examines the impact of Neo-Liberalism on psychological frameworks.
Her recent submitted work, a chapter on Sensorimotor Psychotherapy in Experiential Methods in Trauma Treatment (Routledge), reflects her specialization in body-based therapeutic models. Dr. Gladstone’s contributions bridge clinical practice, academic instruction, and interdisciplinary training across multiple institutions.
