Dr. Amy Fitzgerald is a Professor and Undergraduate Chair in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Windsor, Canada, affiliated with the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research. Her research focuses on the intersection of violence against humans and animals, green criminology, critical animal studies, environmental sociology, and gender studies. She has held prestigious fellowships, including a Visiting Research Fellowship at Harvard Law School's Animal Law and Policy Program (2020).
