Amy Fahey is a Teaching Professor and Director of the Center for the Restoration of Christian Culture at Thomas More College of Liberal Arts. She holds a PhD in English and American Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.Phil. in Mediaeval Literature from the University of St. Andrews, and a B.A. in English from Hillsdale College. Her research focuses on medieval literature, heraldry in English literature, and modern poetry. She has taught at Washington University and Christendom College, and directed conferences for Liberty Fund, Inc. Dr. Fahey’s academic service includes roles as Managing Editor of Faith & Reason journal and Director of Academic Development at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
Her teaching interests span medieval spiritual literature, writing/rhetoric, and modern poetry. She has received prestigious fellowships including the Earhart Fellowship for her dissertation work. Beyond academia, she is a homeschooling mother of five and active in music (flute/piano) and hobbies like gardening and sewing.
