Amy F. Salyzyn is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, specializing in legal ethics, technology in legal services, and access to justice. She holds a JD from the University of Toronto, an LLM from Yale University, and a JSD from Yale University, where her dissertation focused on judicial regulation of lawyers in common law jurisdictions. Her teaching includes Torts and seminars on AI in the legal profession.
Research areas include legal ethics, judicial analytics, law and technology, and access to justice. She co-led a $2.5 million SSHRC Partnership Grant project on ethical technology use in justice systems and received an Early Researcher Award for tech-driven access to justice initiatives. She authored the textbook Understanding Lawyers' Ethics in Canada and contributes to Canadian Legal Practice as a General Editor.

- Early Researcher Award from the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation
Amy serves as Board Chair of the Canadian Association for Legal Ethics and has held leadership roles in organizations like the National Association of Women and the Law. Her work emphasizes ethical technology integration in legal systems, evidenced by projects like the Access to Justice Legal Apps Challenge Modules for high school students.
