Amy Darty

Amy Darty serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Central Florida, specializing in innovative digital pedagogy and interdisciplinary historical education across multiple eras and global contexts.

Education:

• M.A. in History from University of Central Florida (2000)
• B.A. in History from University of Central Florida (1996)

Research Focus: Her scholarly work bridges traditional historical inquiry with digital methodologies, examining Virtual History Teaching and Learning frameworks alongside substantive research in American History, Medieval Worlds, and the intersection of Science and Technology History with Anthropology. She actively develops Integrative General Education and Assessment Curriculum Alignment systems and Discipline and Intercollegiate Technology Solutions for Teaching and Learning.
