Amy Bustin is an Assistant Professor of Spanish and Pedagogy in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Delaware. She directs the Spanish Basic Language Program and teaches courses such as Principles of Teaching World Languages, Spanish II, and Spanish III. Her research focuses on second language acquisition, heritage bilingualism, code-switching, and the sociolinguistic dimensions of Afro-Peruvian Spanish.

Teaching & Service: She coordinates the 100-level Spanish program and contributes to graduate pedagogy courses. Her teaching spans online and in-person modalities, including courses on language acquisition theories and world language pedagogy.
