Amy Badersnider

Amy Badersnider is an Affiliate Research Professor at the School of Architecture. She currently serves as Head of UX Workspace Design at Google, based in New York, NY, leading a global team managing a $120MM workspace portfolio critical to Google’s goals of flexibility, productivity, and wellbeing. She has standardized 10 new space designs scaled across Google’s global campuses and oversees a 200+ space portfolio welcoming 35K+ annual external visitors. Previously, she worked at Apple as a Designer and Lead Creative. She holds a professional degree in architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Her research focuses on workspace design’s impact on innovation and product development, emphasizing environments that inspire breakthroughs. Her work integrates tooling and space strategies to enhance team productivity across 54 product organizations.
