Dr. Amuda Agneswaran is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, serving as Psychology Admissions Lead and Foundation Year Programme Leader. She holds a BA in Psychology from Sophia College (Mumbai), an MSc in Forensic Psychology from Teesside University, and a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University focusing on experiences of intermediaries and police with intellectually disabled witnesses.
Her research explores forensic psychology domains including eyewitness testimony, vulnerable witnesses, evidence processes, and police attitudes. She employs qualitative and quantitative methodologies to investigate systemic interactions within criminal justice contexts.
