Amritanshu Pandey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont, with an adjunct appointment at Carnegie Mellon University's Electrical and Computer Engineering program. His research focuses on developing electric energy technologies to combat climate change and modernize power systems through circuit theory, nonlinear optimization, and machine learning. He pioneered the Simulation of Unified Grid Analysis and Renewables (SUGAR) tool, now commercialized by Pearl Street Technologies, Inc.
