Amos Abrahams is a PhD researcher in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures. Supervised by Professor Olga Taxidou and supported by the Wolfson Foundation, his work bridges Modernist theatre, theatricality, and the history and philosophy of science. He has taught undergraduate courses in English and Scottish Literature.

His research explores the interplay between twentieth-century physics and Modernist dramatists, focusing on quantum mechanics' philosophical implications for theatricality in the works of Gertrude Stein, Bertolt Brecht, and Samuel Beckett. Additional interests include tragedy, psychoanalysis, and global avant-garde movements.
Amos has presented at conferences at the University of Manchester, Edinburgh, and Oxford, including papers such as "Theatrical philosophy, mathematic science" (2018) and "Quantum mechanics and the theatre of Bertolt Brecht" (2017). His publication in the Edinburgh Dictionary of Modernism (2018) synthesizes these themes.
