Ammar Bhutta

Ammar Bhutta is a Lecturer at the School of Technology, Eastern Illinois University. He specializes in software automation, machine learning & AI, and AWS/Alexa integrations. His academic background includes an M.S. in Management Information Systems (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, 2005) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (University of South Alabama, 1998).

His research interests encompass innovative applications of automation technologies, AI-driven solutions for software systems, and integration of voice assistants like Alexa with enterprise tools. He has developed multiple patented systems for web testing and high-volume automation.

Bhutta has been an active member of professional organizations since 2000, including IEEE, the Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering, AAAI, and the Association of DevOps Professionals. He currently teaches courses such as Advanced Operating Systems, Java Application, and Management of Computer Technology in the School of Technology.
