Ammar Bajboj is a visiting research fellow at the Refugee Law Initiative, part of the School of Advanced Study at the University of London. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from Cairo University, an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Tanta, and a Bachelor of Law from Damascus University. Prior to his current position, he worked at King’s College London’s War Studies Department and supported the Justice, Conflict, and Development network at LSE’s Centre for International Studies. He also actively engages with humanitarian organizations, including serving as a trustee for New Citizen's Gateway, which aids refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
