Dr. Amjad Fayoumi is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Information Systems at the Department of Management Science, Lancaster University Management School, since 2017. He directs the MSc in Digital Business, Innovation and Management and previously led the MSc in E-business and Innovation Programme. He co-leads the Advanced Manufacturing Theme in LiRA (Lancaster Intelligent, Robotic and Autonomous Systems Centre) and participates in multiple research groups.

Recent publications span digital business startups, healthcare apps, cyber-physical frameworks, and Industry 4.0 innovations. His work integrates enterprise architecture, digital twins, and privacy-preserving systems across industries.
