Amit Tandon

Prof. Amit Tandon is a Commonwealth Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, with joint appointments in the School for Marine Science & Technology (SMAST) and as an Adjunct Scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. His research focuses on fluid dynamics, ocean mixing processes, and sub-mesoscale/submesoscale phenomena in the upper ocean.
