Amit Bhattacharya

Dr. Amit Bhattacharya is a tenured Professor in the Department of Environmental Health at the University of Cincinnati, with secondary appointments in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He directs the Biomechanics-Ergonomics Research Laboratories and founded the Occupational Ergonomics/Safety graduate program and the NIOSH-sponsored Pilot Research Training program. His 45+ years of research focus on occupational biomechanics, neurotoxicity, and nanosensor technology, funded by federal agencies like NIH and NIOSH to the tune of $29M.
