Amir-Hossein Karimi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo and a Faculty Affiliate at the Vector Institute. His research focuses on trustworthy human-AI collaboration, including causal inference, algorithmic recourse, and explainable AI. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and prior industry experience at Meta, Google Brain, and DeepMind.
