Dr. Amir Allam is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Aston University's College of Business and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). His research focuses on corporate governance, board characteristics, tax evasion/avoidance, ESG disclosures, and cybersecurity. He has been awarded grants from the British Academy/Leverhulme, HEA, and ESRC, totaling over £147,000. His work appears in journals like Business Strategy and the Environment and International Journal of Accounting.
