Aminata P Kilungo

Aminata P. Kilungo is a Professor at The University of Arizona, Department of Soil, Water and Environmental Science. Her work focuses on improving global public health through interventions addressing water security, environmental health, and climate adaptation, with a focus on marginalized communities in Arizona, the Arizona-Sonora Border region, and Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a Ph.D. in Soil, Water and Environmental Science from the University of Arizona.

Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Global Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH), Infectious Diseases in Global Health, and Public Health Preparedness. She has received the MEZCOPH Teaching Excellence Award (2022).
