Amina Gonzalez Costa is a researcher at the University of Murcia, Spain, currently affiliated with the EALE research group (Teaching-Learning of Foreign Languages) focusing on Arabic and Spanish language pedagogy. Previously, she contributed to the Estudios Árabes y Medievales (Arab and Medieval Studies) research group.
She earned her Doctorate from the University of Seville in 2013 under Dr. Pablo Beneito's supervision. Her doctoral thesis, Estudio y edición (primera mitad) del Idah al-Hikma, comentario coránico del sufí Ibn Barrayan de Sevilla (m.536/1141), examines a foundational Sufi Quranic commentary from medieval Seville.
