Amin Mugera

Amin Mugera is an Associate Professor at the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment, The University of Western Australia. He holds a PhD in Economics from Kansas State University (2009) and dual MS degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Michigan State University (2004). His research focuses on agribusiness strategic management, production/financial analysis of agribusiness firms, and broader themes like economic growth and poverty analysis.

His expertise aligns with UN SDGs related to poverty reduction, sustainable agriculture, and economic development. Key research areas include technical efficiency in farming, climate-smart agricultural practices, and the socio-economic impacts of agricultural policies in regions like China, Kenya, and Western Australia.
